Political Philosophy for Gregory L. "Greg" Haas

My wife Whitney and I fell in love with Paso Robles more than a decade ago. We were impressed by Paso's rural character, vibrant downtown, and its people, with their optimism and spirit of cooperation. Cities like Paso Robles -- rural towns where people care for one another -- are increasingly uncommon. When urban sprawl, strained services, and congestion take hold of a community, its quality of life suffers. I'm running for City Council because I'm unwilling to see the Paso Robles I know and love disappear. If elected, I will work to ensure that city government is responsive and fair by actively seeking the advice and input of local residents. I will work with all sides to find real solutions to the housing crisis and to relieve the ever-increasing congestion in our community. I will stand up for the needs of local businesses and ensure that the City actively supports a strong and vibrant local economy. I will make parks, open spaces and recreational opportunities priorities. As a community member I have worked on these issues. Now, I am ready to serve the people on the City Council. I would be honored to have your support and your vote. |
