Candidate for
Member of the State Assembly; District 10

I am a "Lawn Artist". Yes that's right. I'm probably the only one too. I used to be just a mild mannered gardener. I love helping things grow. And then one day I noticed, different blades of grass are different colors. So I planted some grasses to know their different colors and textures. Then I planted some green pictures in the lawn. The care and maintenance is the same as any other lawn. The pictures will last for years. So that makes me a "Lawn Artist". However I am also a gardener; a mom; an American and a human being and I care what happens to my fellow man and our planet.

As a gardener I know where to plant different species of plants to help them grow. Right now I have some 4 leaf clover with pie shaped leaves and some 3 leaf clover with heart shaped leaves and I am trying to cross pollinate them,because I need all the love and luck I can get. Ha ha.

I cared for my dad, who had many "mini strokes", that's what the doctor called them. After about 3 years the strokes took him. He died in his sleep after a good breakfast.

As a home-maker I am a mom with 2 daughters, a cute little blue house, truck and a peace sign in the lawn, made of tall fescue and perennial rye.

After college I took a test to become an auto mechanic. I did well on the test and I was asked to become an apprentice mechanic for large diesel engines. I was just about to accept the position when I became pregnant with my second daughter. So instead I went back to school to become a certified brake mechanic.

In college I had no idea what I wanted to be except I knew I love children. So I took general studies, art, drama, education and psychology classes.

In my last year of college I took a children's theater class. We took our show on the road to different elementary schools. I was the van driver. I also acted in all the plays we did.
