End Politics-As-Usual at City HallBy Oscar MendozaCandidate for Council Member; City of Los Angeles; District 7 | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
The local politicians are playing musical chairs-but the rest of us don't have a seat at the table down at Los Angeles City Hall.We need citizen-leader Oscar Mendoza as our next City Councilperson. Oscar has a succesful career as a self made businessman. He is not running because he needs a job. He is running to make sure the job of representing us at City Hall is finally done right. Our district has been neglected for too long. We have streets that still are not paved. Our sewer lines and trash pickup services are substandard. Our schools are overcrowded and our police and fire protection is stretched too thin. We need to make sure our communities get their fair share. That means putting a stop to back room deals with developers, politicians and insiders. We need leaders who are not thinking about their next political job-and instead are thinking about us. |
