Honorable Lynwood Resident

Dear Neighbor:

I was elected Nov. 2001 served a 4 year term and then re-elected in Nov. of 2005. Recently my political enemies have lied to the Lynwood residents about a proposal for a Shopping Center with a possible Stadium. They have seeded panic among the home owners telling them that they will be losing their homes for this project. This is not a project this is a PROPOSAL that the Lynwood Redevelopement Agency is currently evaluating. Please contact our city for more information.

An angry developer is paying for the RECALL AGAINST 4 OUT OF 5 COUINCILMEMBERS this includes me. Developers who don't get their way are constantly trying to recall councilmembers, this is an abuse of the recall process!

These are some of the accomplishments that I was able to get done with the help of my current council colleagues:

·New Senior Center completed in April 2007! ·127 Million in single family housing projects ·Hired 4 new Police Officers to combat drugs, prostitution and gangs ·3 Large Shopping Centers: Plaza Mexico, Pluma Center and Atlantic Crossings ·Reduced City Council Salaries by 70% ·Eliminated City Council credit cards ·Reduced trash rates, with free recycling ·Created anti-graffiti / beautification vine planting program ·Dedicated $4 Million to new streets ·Negotiated with Lynwood Unified School District so that 5 new schools were built ·Created over 2,000 new jobs
