I am a candidate for the Cerritos College Board of Trustees, and I am asking for your vote. I am a graduate of El Camino Community College, as well as UCLA and USC. I am also a veteran of the United States Air Force and a resident of La Mirada. I will bring to the Board experience as a community college instructor and as an administrator with Northwood University. I have a passion for education and for helping Cerritos students become successful in business and in life. As a member of the Board of Trustees I will seek to enhance K-12 partnerships to better prepare high school students for higher education. I will work tirelessly to ensure that our students will be provided the best tools possible to extend their education at four-year institutions or to enter the workforce. All members of our community deserve a solid education and as such, I will work closely with community groups to create new educational opportunities for all students. I will be open to innovative ideas from staff and faculty regarding how best to provide the highest level of education to our students.
