CANDIDATE FOR MEMBER OF THE GOVERNING BOARD El Segundo Unified School District

Age: 49 Occupation: Educator I am a third generation educator. I have completed my Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Education and Masters of Arts degree in Dance. I have been employed as a substitute teacher for the ESUSD the last 7 plus years, which has allowed me to work in each of the 5 schools at ESUSD. My husband and I have 2 daughters that have attended schools within ESUSD. I believe that public education is the inspiration of the American Dream. If elected, I will be a good steward of our tax dollars. I will seek solutions that support our teachers, students and the quality of education. I will use my perspectives as an educator and parent to look out for our children's future. I belong to the following organizations: · PTA · El Segundo Auxiliary for Los Angeles Children's Hospital · California Association of Dance/Drill Team Directors
