BRIEF RESUME / BIOGRAPHY
Education Materials Development, Planning & Training After graduating with my first degree in Public Administration in 1975, I worked for the State of California, Department of Benefit Payments for 4 years in Personnel Management and in Management Analysis. I left Sacramento to join the Peace Corps in Liberia, beginning a 22-year career in developing countries (1978 to 2000). During this time I progressively worked in and studied health education while acting in managerial and administrative capacities. Some of my various positions included:
Since returning to live in Pacific Grove, I have been working as an educational materials development consultant for various agencies and organizations (including UNICEF, World Health Organization, The World Bank, Freedom From Hunger, Hesperian Foundation, Family Care International, United Nations Development Group, Child Survival and Collaborations Group (USAID), International Institute for Environment and Development, and others) EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND Columbia University School of Public Health
Born 6 October 1954; Lived in Germany, Japan, Okinawa; Family moved to Pacific Grove in 1966; Attended Robert Down Elementary School, Pacific Grove Junior High and Pacific Grove High School; Married since 1985 to Brendan Doyle (MSc Social Policy & Planning; BSc Civil and Structural Engineering, international water and sanitation consultant). |
