The Plan for the Future

The first thing I will do when elected is identify the problems of the past and make sure that the leadership of the district is focused, aware and prepared to deal with any and all contingencies that may confront them. The quality of our water is of paramount importance to our community and I will diligently work to ensure that the trust of the people is earned.

To ensure that our water supply is not depleted by development the district should enact a Conservation policy and a Smart Growth policy. Smart growth is designed to promote development while protecting the environment, encouraging social and economic equity and conserving energy and water resources.

Fiscal accountability is also vital. JCSD is a multimillion dollar company and it needs to be held accountable for the way it spends its money and how they do their accounting of the districts funds. Independent audits should be scheduled on a regular basis.

The residents of Eastvale have additional concerns that of its parks and landscaping. The district needs to develope a comprehensive parks and recreations program for the Eastvale area that is equal to those in the surrounding communities.
