1. What experience related to city government would you bring to the City Council?

I am an attorney, and active in many groups in Cupertino including the following groups :

Civic Involvement Cupertino Kiwanis Club member Cupertino Community Services + volunteer & sponsor Cupertino Veterans Memorial + volunteer, sponsor, fundraiser Cupertino Health & Safety Fair + volunteer Monta Vista High School Key Club + sponsor, fundraiser Volunteer Attorney, Community Legal Aid Member of the State Bar of California Sierra Club member + Loma Prieta chapter Cupertino Chamber of Commerce + member & sponsor Cupertino Fall Festival + sponsor

2. What concerns are of particular importance to the city and how would you address them?

Urbanization of our city - see position paper Vallco/Cupertino square vitalization Hansen Cement expansion - see position paper R1H zoning - see position on Blog

3. How would you balance the needs of the City as a whole with groups' interests?

I would look to what is best for the city as a whole.
