Michael Hennessey has served as San Francisco's Sheriff since 1980. He is married to Beverly Hennessey. They live in the Bernal Heights neighborhood. They have two daughters, one attending Yale University and the other at Mission High School. He is the only Sheriff in California who is also a lawyer, having graduated from The University of San Francisco School of Law in 1973. |
