1. What are your qualifications for office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Michael Tranter:

Former employment with Judge Ann Marie Tracey, and Thomas Luken. Previous coach of youth sports in Greater Cincinnati. Parishioner - Our Lady of Sacred Heart Catholic Church - OLSH Men's Club. Legal representative of several Reading families and individuals.


2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Answer from Michael Tranter:

I want to be a consensus builder, and offer a fresh perspective to all the residents and businesses in Reading.
1. Downtown Revitalization by creation of a "Fountain Square Aesthetics" at the corner of Bensen and Reading. An expanded entertainment zone marketed to the surrounding suburbs of Evendale, Blue Ash, Wyoming, and Amberely Village.
2. Newly updated Community Pool & Recreation Areas, monthly "Movie Nights" at the parks and recreation centers.
3. Current City leadership fixing less streets than was promise to voters following tax increase passed by voters last year; our citizens deserve better progress than the 2-3 streets currently being repaired.


3. State three actions that you recommend to promote regional cooperation, and explain how you would implement each action? (150 word limit)

Answer from Michael Tranter:

Aggressive involvement in the 'Through the Valley' project, cooperation with surrounding cities and villages among police and fire departments, expanded entertainment marketed for surrounding communities.
