1. What are your qualifications for office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Don Jasper:

I have lived in Delhi all my life, since I was a teenager I have stayed in tune with our local government. I beleive this board needs a voice from the average Delhi working property owner. Someone not politically connected. I will only answer to the average Delhi citizen.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Answer from Don Jasper:

I will actively attempt to get the trustee meeting broadcast's improved. During these meetings I will give more explainations to the public. I will try to get as much information as possible to the residents.

I will address the existing zonning codes, and add to them as necassary to force the residents to keep up their properties, which leads to increased property value. I will clean up Delhi Park, and encourage budgeting for necessary make-overs.

3. State three actions that you recommend to promote regional cooperation, and explain how you would implement each action? (150 word limit)

Answer from Don Jasper:

We are two years into what we were told was a five year plan for the fire and police levies. We need to be prepared for what lies ahead when the five year plan is up. My goal is to eliminate any more tax increases. I will listen to each department, and to the citizens to find the right combination of level of service vs. tax dollars.

At this point in time, Delhi has a good relationship with its neighboring communities.
