Candidate for
Trustee; Township of Symmes

I am a Republican. While I am fiscally conservative, I do favor local government providing first rate services to the residents and businesses of Symmes Township. We have borrowed funds to move forward projects, but we always pay off the notes well in advance of the due date.

I supported Home Rule, Local Zoning, Safety Sidewalks, and the Fire/Sheriff's Office Building.

I work hard to seek grants and aid from the county, state and federal government to pay for improvements. We have spent township funds to correct environmental, water runoff and flooding issues in specific cases and neighborhoods.

I believe the voters should be advised of significant issues. to this end we use press releases, broadcast township meetings, newsletter and direct mail. I regret that often some do not read the information we send, but we will continue to send it.

Negative political campaigning can be vile and disgusting. This is especially true when small events are taken out of context and manipulated to distort the truth. I will not engage in this behavior.
