For sixteen years, it has been my pleasure and honor to uphold the public trust as professional City Clerk for El Segundo. Throughout my tenure in the community that has been my home since childhood, I have demonstrated my ability to get the job done right. I have strived to improve at every opportunity through participation in varied programs, and have been awarded the prestigious designation of Certified Municipal Clerk and been accepted into the Master Municipal Clerk program by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. This experience, which most likely is not equaled by any other candidate, is only available through effort and willingness to take time beyond the daily responsibilities of the office. The City Clerk is a nonpolitical working office which requires a dedicated and unbiased officer, willing to perform numerous duties and ensure compliance with all state and local legal requirements, while guaranteeing the integrity of our elections and safeguarding the official records of El Segundo. I want to continue making this office as efficient and effective as possible, using my unique qualifications and dedication to integrity and professionalism to serve as I have for many years. I hope I can count on your vote, but regardless of your choice, please Vote. |
