I am opposed to any version of the loop. This system of five and six lane one way streets running through the middle of town will destroy current businesses and deter more businesses from locating here. Hayward needs destination traffic to encourage business development not thru traffic. We can restore downtown by treating it as a neighborhood... a place where people live and shop and eat. A "loop" makes the downtown a place to go through instead of place to go to. |
