IMPROVING THE APPEARANCE OF HAYWARDBy Bill QuirkCandidate for Council Member; City of Hayward; 4 Year Term | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Bill has supported forming a Keep Hayward Clean and Green Task Force. The task force's efforts are concentrated on cleaning up litter and graffiti in Hayward. In addition, the task force will work to enforce City ordinances that require property owners to fix boarded up windows and other violations that make properties look bad. Bill Quirk is also supporting strengthening City ordinances that deal with blight, graffiti, and litter. Finally, he supports increasing the number of community preservation officers and having community preservation officers assigned to specific neighborhoods, so people will know who to contact, when they have a problem with an unkempt house or yard. |
