We can be good citizens or good serfs.Our identity as a nation has recently come under a massive attack. A policy toward illegal immigration that masquerades as a humanitarian legacy, and an economic globalization that is being shoved down our throats as manifest destiny. Both prongs of this attack benefit the few,and the foolish. The globalists haunt both parties. Over the past half century we have watched our nation bled of it's enthusiasm, it's young men and it's future, we've been handed high minded platitude, and promises to fill our dwindling reality with. NAFTA has been disastrous to the working people of both the U.S. and Mexico, but has made many corporations obscenely wealthy. Now we are promised that the North American Union and the SPP will solve our problems. How much voice will you have when our Constitution is trumped by the corporate bottom line. Where will our labour laws go, our environmental struggles? The future of our children, and the beautiful land we live on is much to precious to be left in the hands of politicians. |
