Candidate for
Member, Democratic Party County Central Committee; County of Contra Costa; Supervisorial District 4

I am a lifelong Democrat who was raised by a small business owner and high school teacher in the blue-collar Democratic stronghold of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since moving to the Bay Area in June 2004, I have been actively involved in Contra Costa County politics, serving as the elected Secretary of the DPCCC, as well as the board Board member Member responsible for publicity for the second largest Democratic club in California, the Lamorinda Democratic Club.

An activist Democrat, during campaign season, I walk precincts and phone bank for statewide and national campaigns during the campaign season, and I help to register new Democrats year-round. I have also frequently contributed articles written several articles to for the Dispatch and the Lamorinda Democratic Club newsletter on topics of interest to local Democrats. I am running for re-election due to my desire because I want to help improve the quality of life throughout Contra Costa County and the Bay Area by continuing to work hard to get Democrats elected to local and statewide offices.
