1. Improve public image of the Hospital 2. Become an accredited Level II Trauma Center; this revenue enhancement will provide new high propensity payer, increase the quality of medical treatment, and enhance the Hospitals public image. 3. Improve coding, collections, and reimbursement performance. 4. Implement aggressive case management to address poor reimbursement performance and existing length of stay to be more in line with industry standards. 5. Review and evaluate all sr. level management positions, communicate expectations, performance (financial and operational) set and monitor goals. 6. Improve affiliation with teaching institution that will improve the residence program to encourage a healthy attending to resident ratio. (cost reduction; resident vs. attending) 7. Encourage rotation of residency programs with county physician groups to improve retention of those physicians into the hospital and/or private practice. |
