1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)
|
Answer from Shamed Dogan:
I am running for State Representative to help return the Republican Party to its small government conservative roots. My experience working for Senator Talent taught me how to be an effective advocate for commonsense conservative values. I will work hard on behalf of the people of the 88th District.
Answer from Chris Howard:
Having lived, served, worked, raised a family, and worshiped in my community, I believe I am best able to represent my district to Jefferson City as opposed to representing Jefferson City to the district. If you expect change in Jefferson City, do not send a trained politician.
2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit)
|
Answer from Shamed Dogan:
I will work to keep both taxes and spending low because I trust the people with their money more than politicians and bureaucrats. I will be an effective advocate for small business and job creation. And I will do everything possible to reduce the threat posed by illegal immigration.
Answer from Chris Howard:
Property tax assessments are not consistant within the state. While a Federal issue, the Federal Government has opted out of the debate, the states must force the Federal Government to act. People do not know who they are voting for in Judicial elections. The Judicial system must become more transparent.
