Candidate for
State Representative; District 13; Republican Party

Kevin is interested in serving as a State Representative to help steer growth within the region, and develop strong communities for his young family and for all residents of the 13th District. His daily work in the region has helped him develop relationships with governmental agencies, local businesses and several communities. He believes this experience would serve him well as a State Representative.

Kevin grew up in Lake Saint Louis and graduated from Wentzville (Holt) High School.

After High School he enlisted into the United States Army and worked in Military Intelligence. After serving in the Army Kevin returned to Missouri and attended Missouri State University.

Kevin worked his way through college as an apartment manager for the Wooten Company. He met his wife Jeanette while in college and was married in 1996. Kevin graduated from Missouri State with a B.S. in Community and Regional Planning.

Kevin and his wife moved to Wentzville after college and he began working as the Senior Planner and GIS Coordinator for the Boonslick Regional Planning Commission in Warrenton. There he gained experience working with the local governments of Warren, Lincoln, and Montgomery Counties as well as various State Agencies.

In 2003 he became one of the youngest City Managers in the State when he went to work for Innsbrook, Missouri. Along with his current duties, he continues to work with other municipalities within the region to help develop solutions to the Regions issues.

Kevin and his wife, Jeanette, currently live in Lake Saint Louis and have three young children Grant, Kendall, and Alex. Jeanette has a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation and Management and was a Zoo Keeper at the St. Louis Zoo for almost 6 years. She currently looks after the Zoo at home.

Kevin continues over 9 years of service as a member of the East Central Missouri Development Association. He has been appointed by the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the State of Missouri to serve on the Missouri Geographic Information Systems Advisory Committee as well as the National States Geographic Information Council for the past 8 years.

He also has served on the Transportation Corporation for Pearce Blvd./ Wentzville Parkway and various Planning Advisory Committees for the City of Wentzville.

Kevin is a member of the American Planning Association, Missouri City/County Management Association, and the Missouri Mappers Association. He is also a member of the Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity.

Kevin spends his time with his wife helping to raise their three kids. He is also a Private Pilot and can be seen from time to time flying over the district or by the Arch. Kevin is also an avid cyclist and uses his lunch hour to ride the challenging hills of Innsbrook, weather permitting.
