Political Philosophy for Robert "Rob" Stelzer
Candidate for |
I am running for State Rep simply because I want to help the City and help those of us who live here have better lives. I am not ideologically driven. I have no special interests or hidden agendas, nor am I using the State-Rep position as a stepping stone to some other office or position. I am honest, hard working, community-service oriented and believe I can make a difference. I understand the art of compromise as well as the value in having integrity. I am well educated in the law and politics and will be a strong and pro-active voice for South St. Louis and the City in general. My campaign is family and neighborhood based. In a very short period of time -- I got into the race in February 2008 -- I have been able to convince many elected officials, Ward organizations, labor officials and community groups of my qualities as a candidate. Finally, I will fight for equality and individual liberties for all in all situations! |
