1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)
In addition to meeting qualifications set forth in the Missouri Constitution, I have served in the House of Representatives since 2002 holding several Democratic leadership positions during that time. Remaining unbought and unbossed, I have maintained a 100% progressive vote record echoing the sentiments of my constituents.2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit)
Consensus is the mother of progress. It's imperative to bring stakeholders to the table for honest dialogue about needs and resources. It is my intention to convene the communities mentioned in Top political Priorities to assess the gaps, draft legislation to match the need and work for its passage.
Responses to questions asked of each candidate are reproduced as submitted to the League. Candidates' statements are presented as submitted. Word limits apply for each question. Direct references to opponents are not permitted.Read the answers from all candidates (who have responded).
