Brian Christie was born and raised in Hemet and has lived here for more than 47 years.
His family moved to Hemet prior to 1917 and has been here since.
Brian Graduated from Hemet High School and Mt. San Jacinto College, where he met his wife Bobbie.
Brian began firefighting at the Little Lake Fire Station on Stanford Street in Hemet in 1976 and is now a Fire Captain in San Diego County. Brian has worked as a Fire Station manager, led a Fire Crew of 18 prisoners through 4 fire seasons and is currently an Emeregency Command Center Supervisor. Brian also spent several years working in the Aviation industry.
Brian and his wife Bobbie have one son and two grandchildren who also live in Hemet.
Bobbie and Brian have been involved in valley organizations for many years including the Chamber of Commerce, the Kid Zone Youth Museum, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and the Ramona Pageant.
Brian's hobbies include woodworking, scuba diving, classic cars, geneaology and photography. Brian is also a licensed Pilot and former real estate agent.
