For All The Right Reasons Putting Children FirstMy name is Dr. Lisa DeForest and I am running for Hemet's school board. I believe every child has the right to a quality education. My husband, a Riverside Sheriff Deputy and I are parents of two children who attend Hemet schools. I want my children and every other child, to experience their educational journey in a safe and effective school environment. As an instructor at Cal Poly Pomona and Mt. San Jacinto Community College, I understand the need for providing educators with proper resources, smaller class size, sensible application of the budget, as well as a dedication to excellence for all students. I have served this community on non-profit boards, was chosen Women of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce, and currently chair the Women's Leadership Council for United Way. Dedication to Safety. is one reason that I am a founder of Valley Watch.Org, a non profit dedicated to tracking and reporting on the movement of criminals that pose a threat to our children. I am known for my high energy and for listening to people and addressing their concerns, researching issues and making good decisions. Please vote for Lisa DeForest on November 4th |
