Candidate for
Council Member; City of La Quinta

In 1990 I was elected as a La Quinta City Council member. My term was cut short by a diagnosis of breast cancer. Regrettably I returned to my former home for treatment and finally had to resign my office.

I am once a again a La Quinta citizen and have been urged to serve my community by running for City Council.

I started my business career as a legal administrator and then my husband and I formed a partnership that focused on commercial and residential land development. Part of the residential land development umbrella in which I was involved was ownership and management of a golf course.

I have a California real estate license and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida.

I am an HOA delegate, a past board member of the La Quinta Chamber of Commerce, and have been an active board member of the Boys & Girls Club for 15 years.

I am married and have three children and two grandsons. My youngest daughter and grandson are La Quinta residents, as is my Mother.

I love La Quinta and look forward to helping preserve its charm.
