BELOW ARE MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS A BOARD MEMBER FOR THE LAST EIGHT YEARSAs a member of the Board for the past eight years: Tests scores at all schools have improved from 4 years ago Renovation of San Jacinto and Hyatt Elementary Expansion of San Jacinto High School Construction of two new elementary schools-Record and Estudillo Quality administrators hired at all schools More graduates of San Jacinto High School are going to college More graduates of San Jacinto High School are winning college scholarships Growth and success of the Future Connections program that allows juniors and seniors to take classes at Mt. San Jacinto College before they graduate from high school Restored trust and confidence in our schools Improved staff and teacher morale More active PTAs and PTSAs at our schools More cooperation between district and site administrators, staff and teachers More Internet and computer access in most classrooms More honors and advanced placement courses at San Jacinto High School |
