Candidate statement as it will appear on the official sample ballot.As a former Mayor, Chris Mann led his City to the largest budget reserves in history, reduced crime by more than 20%, protected valuable open space, and fought against all efforts to increase taxes. Chris Mann is a graduate of California Lutheran University, and has completed the coursework for his Masters in Public Policy and Administration. As a Director of the San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency, and as President of the Inland Empire Taxpayers Association, Chris Mann has staunchly opposed all tax increases. He has worked to protect our water resources and to find additional sources of water. In contrast to recent scandals surrounding other elected boards in our area, Chris Mann is proud to be part of the Board of Directors of the San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency, which has implemented policies and procedures which have consistently maintained a high level of ethics and professionalism. If re-elected, Chris Mann will: 1) Fight for taxpayers by voting against all attempts to raise our taxes. 2) Find ways to bring additional water into our region. 3) Work to enhance water service by adding to our water infrastructure. On November 4th, please re-elect Chris Mann to the San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency. |
