Plans to Protect the Future of our great City!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my letter for your friendship and your support. It is with great pride, focus and determination that I inform you of my decision to run for Perris City Council.

All of you in many different ways have guided me to this decision, to step beyond a life and a job I love, to make a commitment to the community I call home. That commitment is to Protect the future of Perris.

Here in the City of Perris there is an open seat, as we have a retiring councilmember. This open seat presents an opportunity for fresh ideals and leadership to our local government. We need new type of leadership that does not live in the past reminiscing of the days of old, keeping the status quo, or focusing on a single issue. Instead we need to be open to reinventing local government to ensure that we provide the services people rely on the city for. This will be a campaign of solutions and ideas, not slogans. Perris has a slogan as the "Place for Business." That being said, if our council neglects business and its residents we turn a blind eye to our primary responsibility and that is to create opportunities for our residents and local businesses.

Opportunity means a focus on providing a better quality of life for our residents. This is accomplished by maintaining roads, adhering to our fiscal plan with a focus on sustainable economic development, and to expand on our recreational parks so that our hard working families have a place to enjoy during these economically challenging times.    I believe with all my heart that together, we can make this happen. We can secure and protect the future of Perris. We can and we must. This is a campaign for the future of Perris, to ensure that we provide the high level of service we all expected when we moved to the area. Join us this Sunday as I kickoff this campaign. I ask for your prayers, your help, your hands, and your hearts.
