Political Philosophy for Chad Prentice

|
My passion for education and the community in which we live has led me to run for the Hope School District Board. As a board member, my primary goal will be to build the most nourishing educational environment for our students and teachers alike through community building, financial responsibility and simply put, hard work. My wife Chrissie and I met at UCSB and graduated in 1990. Santa Barbara inspired us, and we were fortunate to move back to this community in 1996. Five years ago, we chose to move to the Hope School District specifically for the quality education we knew our children would receive. I bring experience as a Monte Vista PTA Executive Board Member, a partner in my own law firm, a volunteer in my daughters' classes, and the spouse and son of elementary school teachers. Even prior to having children, I spent hundreds of hours in my wife's classroom and have witnessed first hand the energy and devotion teachers give to our students. I recognize the value teachers, administrators and specialists bring to our educational system, and understand that if they are well supported, our students will flourish and grow. |
