Candidate Statement for Grace H. Mah

Occupation: Appointed Incumbent, Governing Board Member, Santa Clara County Board of Education

My work on the county board has included careful oversight of the $260M budget, hiring and setting goals with our new superintendent, and promoting collaboration among the 33 school districts in Santa Clara County that support over 250,000 students. I am passionate about all of our children's well-being and have visited many county programs such as Head Start, schools for the severely disabled, alternative high schools, and juvenile correctional facilities.
