As chair of the Vista Planning Commission and member of the Investment Advisory Committee, I have a detailed understanding of the issues facing our city in the next four years. There are three significant issues we face: 1) Overcoming the impacts to Vista's budget caused by the states financial crisis. As a financial advisor and business owner I bring a fiscal perspective to the City Council. 2) Ensuring every dollar of Proposition L funds is wisely spent on the projects voters supported when they passed the bond. 3) For our children and their children, Vista needs to expand its parks and recreational facilities. Our kids deserve safe places to play and enjoy their youth. As a youth coach, I see the impacts and the possibilities.
