As a candidate and citizen of the United States I shall perform to protect the public from harm and abuse from local and state government. I will attempt to meet water issue challenges with a balance of equanimity in mind... The public does not need to be medicated by government. Should the public want to be medicated by the topical hydrofluosilicic acid (fluoride)-then let it be their choice and expense.

ADDITIONAL: WATER SAFETY: A highly contaminated hydrofluosilicic acid, a toxic hazardous chemical imported from China, Mexico, and from U.S. industry, has been added to our drinking water by the Metropolitian Water District, San Diego County Water Authority, and some of the 24 member water agencies. (Example: Helix Water District). No one is required to treat water with hydrofluosilicic acid - Not approved by the FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION (FDA). The public needs to be warned that it is unsafe for many to drink this contaminated water especially babies and those with kidney disease.. Remember when LEAD was good for you in the 1930's. It took until 2007 to get the LEAD just out of paint; what about our piping? No foreign or domestic supplier to this date will certify that their product is safe to consume or if consumed it will prevent tooth decay. I'm for prevention of tooth decay but not with contaminated Hazardous waste (Hydrofluosilicic acid). Remember when Proposition 218 was passed - To protect citizens against unreasonable charges... check your billing...

Water Supply: San Diego County needs to build at least two (2) more reservoirs and expand the existing reservoirs to meet the needs of population growth NOW and in the future. Remember, 80%+ of our water supply is imported to San Diego County which is a semi-arid region. We need to work with the State of California which is part of the COLORADO RIVER COMPACT to ensure adequate/share of water is due San Diego County. Remember, Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming all draw water from the 1,450 mile course(ie.from the Rocky Mountains to Mexico). Water rights are transferrable and change as population changes. This compact is set up to share VS prior appropriation of the Wild West - I got mine, you try to get yours. We must consider the dwindling supplies of drinking water in the USA. Therefore, we have to encompass the use of ground water and surface water to manage and make sense for adequate water to supply our population and cities in San Diego County. I will support the building of the TEMPERANCE DAM in the San Joaquin River Project. The positive side for the San Diego Region - we should receive more acre feet of Delta water - exact amount unknown at this time.

KEEP RATE PAYERS INFORMED OF WATER QUALITY CHANGES: Rate payers without their consent will now be paying substantially more for drinking water because the addition hydrofluosilicic acid. The rate payers and other voters did not vote to spend any money on this. Furthermore, it will and has cost families a tremendous amount of buy bottled water. And this includes every infant, the infirmed, and the elderly. The cost for this bogus legislation program should not fall on rate payers and the general public. NOTE: All but one legislator uses bottled water and when in Sacramento...

Meetings and discussions with the nicest/warmest people of Alpine & east county.

Respectfully submitted
