A San Diegan for almost 50 years, Sherri Lightner is a professional engineer and a small business owner who has served her community in leadership positions on many organizations over the last decade. She believes that our city government can no longer ignore our neighborhoods, and that we have a right to a city government that ensures public participation and works for all of us. Sherri believes that we have a right to a city government we can trust--one with restored fiscal integrity that provides the neighborhood services that are essential to our quality of life.

Sherri will apply the knowledge and skills she has gained from her extensive community work, her small business experience, and her professional background to the important work of the San Diego City Council.
