Evelyn Madison Is an Experienced Palomar Pomerado Health (PPH)Board Member

I bring first-hand experience to this position since I have successfully served on the PPH board in the past. During this tenure, the newest tower at Palomar Hospital was opened and considerable renovations were made to Pomerado Hospital. While chairperson of the Building and Grounds Committee, the new Escondido tower was completed on time and within budget. My past experiences in the private sector include working with civil engineers and a general engineering contractor. I have also earned a degree in Business Administration in 1984 from National University.

Currently, I am part owner and associate publisher of The Paper, a weekly community newspaper covering North San Diego County. I have also held leadership positions in numerous volunteer efforts.

I have held leadership positions in many organizations for 40 years, including Kiwanis, Personnel Commission (school district and city), Hospital Auxiliary, Statewide Committee for Hospital Volunteers, City Cummissions and political Organizations.
