Education Needs Are Not Being Met.
As a Marine Transportation specialist in my youth, I believed that education was the means to an end. Today, schools need to focus on our problem youth. I will work with our legislative leaders to ensure this connection to our State and County leaders.

Today, with the advancing and evolving technological front, our youth deserve better. Education needs to be updated to meet the needs of a changing world. However, for our students who wish to focus on trades and special skills occupations, we need to help them. The ROP, or Regional Occupational Program needs updating. Our professors and teachers for special needs students need to be trained and better equipped to meet new challenges in education reform. With dwindling budget and funding sources, our County students cannot be left behind nor ignored. I will be your advocate. I will strengthen programs for the disabled, the special education needs pupils, and teacher training. You can count on me. I ask for your support and vote this November 4th. Thank you. A.
