KATHLEEN M. KANE Kathleen M. Kane is the Principal of KMK Associates. It is a Human Resources Consulting firm. KMK Associates primarily assists firms in linking together corporate strategy and their human resources systems. Consultation is offered to a variety of professional and service companies. In addition, KMK Associates provides interim leadership in the absence of Senior Human Resources Executives. Prior to forming her Company, Ms. Kane was a Vice President of Human Resources for two major health care organizations in the Bay Area. She was responsible for recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, labor law compliance and labor relations. Ms. Kane was also a Manager for a national temporary service company where she was responsible for the developing marketing and sales strategies for new branches, resulting in profitable cash flow within six months of opening of each branch. She also has past experience with two national insurance companies in the area of claims administration and management. Ms. Kane has conducted seminars covering employee relations, management and supervisory training, recruitment, sexual harassment, strategic planning and industrial relations and was an adjunct instructor at Golden Gate University. Ms. Kane served on the Board of Directors of several Bay Area professional organizations. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Sequoia Health Care District and Sequoia Hospital. She is on the Board of Directors for the Association of California Health Care Districts and serves on the Coordinating Council of Redwood City 2020. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco, and additionally she obtained a Certificate in Surgical Technology from Stanford University Medical Center. |
