Tim Smith - Statement of Qualifications

Four years ago you voted to change the Council leadership in Rohnert Park and I promised to work with you to accomplish three goals: Clean Government, Clean Environment and Clean Campaigns.

Together we have accomplished much and kept those promises, including:

Cutting almost $30 million from our City's long-term budget;

Constructing an energy efficient City Hall to better provide cost effective services you need; and

Working with regional boards, districts and the Capitol to obtain over $6 million in grants that enhance Rohnert Park, while keeping our expenses down.

During the next four years I promise to continue paying careful attention to City spending while we provide cost effective City services that are friendly to the environment.

Working together we can assure that our vision for a stronger local economy that develops sustainably will result in a better future for all of us in Rohnert Park.

Community involvement, independent leadership and elective experience all provide a solid foundation for my continuing service as your Councilmember.
