TESTED AND PROVEN LEADERSHIP
- Elected State Representative four times serving eight years in the Legislature
- Chairwoman, Missouri House Education Committee
- Chaired the Education Committee for the American Legislative Exchange Council, the nation's largest organization of Legislative and Business leaders
- In line to be the National Chairwoman of the American Legislative Exchange Council in 2010
- Elected to the Ladue Board of Education
- B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Florida State University
2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit)
1. Re-file HB1471 (Predictable Property Tax Act) from the 2008 Legislative Session and continue to promote policies that encourage economic development, limited government and low taxes.2. Re-file HB1314 (Amy Hestir Davis Student Protection Act) from the 2008 Legislative Session
3. Work with the State Board of Education to ensure families in Missouri know about the exceptional free opportunity for Virtual School Classes. Public School Districts should be alerting their students, parents and communities but they are not. Information is available at: http://dese.mo.gov/divimprove/curriculum/movip/
