Repeal "No Child Left Behind" and reduce taxes"No Child Left Behind" is a hinderance to learning. We don't need a one-size-fits-all formula dictated to local school districts by the federal government. When we had no US Dept of Education, our education system was number one in the world. I propose eliminating the US Dept of Educcation and letting state and local governments run our schools. Money saved would be used to reduce taxes and balance the budget. |
