ABOUT GARY FULLER Gary Fuller is a strong and well-established advocate who has assisted hundreds of people throughout Westchester County over the past several years. His clients include tenants and homeowners, public assistance recipients and applicants, food stamp recipients, public housing residents, Section 8 applicants and recipients, unemployment insurance applicants and co-op dwellers. Countless citizens of Westchester County have benefited from his services, especially those who live and work in Mount Vernon, New York. Gary Fuller is currently employed with Mount Vernon United Tenants. In his advocacy work there he has representing scores of people before administrative law judges at administrative hearings held by various agencies such as Westchester County Department of Social Services, Westchester County Department of Planning's Section 8 program, the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR), New York State Department of Labor Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, New York City Housing Authority, Tuckahoe Housing Authority, and other entities. He has earned the respect of various administrative law judges for his affirmative representation of his clients before them. Gary graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelor of Social Work degree. He also has earned his paralegal credentials from Westchester Community College. He has been certified to represent certain tenants in the various housing courts throughout the state by The New York State Unified Court System and by the New York City Civil Courts Housing Division. He also has law enforcement credentials from the New York State Division of Parole. He has received training credentials from the New York State Office of Quality Assurance Special Investigations unit and the New York State Office of Mental Health Office of Internal Affiars for serious injury and death investigation training. Gary 's social work career began in the areas of quality assurance and quality improvement within state operated or licensed facilities and organizations. As a result, he was solely responsible for causing fifty percent reductions in incidents through the use of information management and data analysis while an administrator with the Jewish Board of Children's and Family Services, and as Director of Quality Assurance with Maranatha Human Services, Inc. He has also investigated, or supervised the investigations of scores of allegations of abuse and neglect within human services organizations. Gary Fuller is an active member of the NAACP Mount Vernon branch, and a former member of the National Association of Black Social Workers. He is currently Chairperson of the City of Mount Vernon Board of Ethics. |
