Candidate for
Member, Council; Borough of Ben Avon

Richard J. White is a lifelong resident of Ben Avon. An active resident in the community, he is involved in many charities and organizations in the North Boroughs. He provides volunteer audio and lighting technical service for Ben Avon's own Community Theatre Players. He helps educate area adults in the art of computer operation. He tutors middle school students in math and science. In addition, he has helped at the Pleasant Valley Men's Shelter dinners.

He feels that Ben Avon is a great community, and he wants to help keep the borough a safe and enjoyable place to live for all residents. He believes in transparency in government, especially at the borough level. He also believes that borough government must be ready to change to fit the needs of its residents, and must always be looking for progressive ways to maintain a good local government.
