I have enjoyed working with Ridge Park Elementary School's PTO to help create a friendly school environment for students, teachers and families of Ridge Park. As President of PTO, I had experience directing and establishing committees, budgets and fundraising. This leadership experience has strengthened my ability to direct the PTO. It has also given me the opportunity to collaborate with the principal, staff and other board members of PTO to learn what works best for the Ridge Park family.
Being a current member of the Colonial District School Board of Directors, has allowed me to continue to help provide this type of environment district wide. I am a member of the Colonial School District Facilities Management/Transportation Committee and the Community Relations/Student Life Committee.
