My Fellow Artesians:

You elected me to the Artesia City Council, and together we have worked to improve the quality of life for all Artesians.

We have removed graffiti, cleaned yards, made bus stops safer, fixed street lights and water leaks, and repaved streets and alleys. I have walked your neighborhoods, discussed your concerns and discovered how much you love Artesia.

Together, we've celebrated holidays and our city's 50th anniversary, lit the Christmas tree, shared Thanksgiving and Easter meals, watched your kids graduate from their schools with great pride, and acknowledged the diversity which makes Artesia unique.

During the next four years, I anticipate the revitalization of our downtown--diverse shopping, restaurants, and entertainment we can all enjoy. We will rise out of our current recession with a sound fiscal budget that provides the essential services we depend upon, allows us to expand services to meet our growing needs, and makes us proud to live in Artesia.

On November 3, I will be on the ballot for re-election, and I respectfully ask for your vote. I will continue to work with you, celebrate with you, and acknowledge what is best in our city--the people of Artesia. Thank you.
