..... Lory Lorimer Lawson has a rich history in civic engagement and understands the district's policies, community and needs. Her strength is her connection to the community, leadership and ability to listen and learn. Her desire for the community to come together for the betterment of the district on the issue of capacity may seem idealistic but it is a value that should be encouraged and her sense of collaboration is key to the district meeting its many challenges.

The district has met previous challenges and has risen above many of them. But there will always be new challenges to rise above, and the district and its community will be best served if its leadership is open and willing to make choices that will best serve the entire district....
