Smart growth and neighborhood preservation are vital for Jefferson Hills.
I have always advocated smart development for Jefferson Hills. While we need to expand and cultivate commercial and industrial development, it should not be at the expense of our residents. Neighborhood preservation should be a long-term strategic priority for borough government. During my tenure on Council, I have used one simple rule and answered one simple question: "would I want this in my backyard."
