Dr. Chang has created and maintained this website since he was first elected to the Board of Somers Central School District in 2007. This website, http://www.mwsearch.com/schoolboard , is devoted to his volunteer work with SCSD and serves as a personal supplemental information bulletin (apart from the official SCSD websites) containing educational issues of interest to SCSD communities and residents. This website is frequently updated and emailed to Somers PTA members and SCSD residents. Through this process, Dr. Chang maintains a communication link with his constituents. He thanks many who had in the past communicated with him through email about school matters.

With his family's support and endorsement, Dr. Chang has decided to run for the SCSD school board again and he sincerely seeks your vote as a vote of confidence for him to continue to serve on the SCSD board as your representative.

The SCSD 2010-2011 budget is a thoughtfully constructed budget in view of our economic situation and New York State financial crisis. The Westchester and Putnam School Board Association has made a survey on school board budgets which can give you a good idea on how Somers budget compares to other school districts.
