I take my job of protecting you and your family very seriously. I strongly oppose the early release of jail inmates. In Orange County, if you do the crime, you should do the time + all of it. Since becoming your Sheriff in June of 2008, I have worked every day to:

Keep you and your family safe in your homes, neighborhoods, schools and places of business Restore integrity and honor to the leadership of the Orange County Sheriff's Department We have made tremendous progress and I am very proud of the professionalism and dedication demonstrated daily by the 4,000 staff members and 800 reserves who make up our department. With your support, we will remain dedicated to our core values: Integrity without compromise; Service above self; Professionalism in the performance of duty; and Vigilance in safeguarding our community.
