We need better representation on The Central Committee. As an active citizen in my community, I am seeking election to the Republican Central Committee because I do not believe that all Republicans are being adequately represented in Orange County. My personal experiences over the past several years have led me to question the motives and direction of the Republican Party in Orange County. I, along with many of my friends and neighbors, am often embarrassed and saddened by decisions/endorsements that come from the Republican central committee. Some of those decisions have caused people to lose faith and we have even lost voters. I believe I can help turn that around. Any committee that is going to represent a large group of constituents should be made up of a variety of different people with different perspectives and experiences. I've been to Sacramento to meet with our legislators to advocate on behalf of children for years. I believe in compromise and working together. It is time to build bridges in our party and restore our reputation. Mud-slinging and party bashing do not accomplish that. Neither does endorsing candidates who end up abusing their office. When we all work together we can achieve great things. |
