Member, Republican Party Party County Central Committee; County of Orange; State Assembly District 68

I am presently a small business owner as well as a Commissioner for the City of Costa Mesa. I am a member of both Lincoln Club of Orange County and Atlas PAC. I serve as a Director (and Board Chairman) for a small local credit union (Health Community Financial). I also volunteer my time with various groups and functions, including: Costa Mesa Historic Preservation Committee, Costa Mesa 3R Committee, Olive Crest Homes for Abused Children and Lighthouse Guild, Costa Mesa Republican Assembly, and a variety of local conservative political candidates and initiatives.

Highlights from previous career and education:

Prior to my involvement in the political arena and business, I worked for nearly 10 years in healthcare law and compliance - from both the provider side as well as insurance side. While my time in this career was rewarding, the level and breadth of government involvement and control in this area was dismaying.

I received my undergraduate degree in History in 1992 at University of California, Irvine (and am an active member of the UCI Legacy Society). I received a law degree in 1998 from the University of Laverne. And I received an MBA in 2004 from Pepperdine University. Additionally, I currently hold a CA real estate license (since 1990) as well as several healthcare compliance certifications and memberships. Finally, I am a member of the National Rifle Association and a lifetime member of the Friends of Costa Mesa Libraries.
